FEATURE
1.JAPANESE FOR COMMUNICATION
"USABLE" is the most important key when you learn a language at ALA You can use the knowledge and skill which you've learned immediately. We promise you that you will learn useful Japanese which you can put to use immediately in your daily life.
2.Japanese for adults.
You are what you say. You will learn "Adult Japanese" here to express yourself as an adult in Japanese society. This allow you to operate at a higher level of communication.
3.Japanese for different purposes
In addition to conversation course, ALA provides a wide variety of curriculum to meet individual requirements such as for success in business in Japan, for university enrolment, and for understanding of Japanese culture.

Each class and level in ALA is as follows;

TIMETABLE
Classes are in both the morning and the afternoon in ALA. Both morning and afternoon classes are 4hours a day, Monday to Friday. We will let you know your class time after taking level check interviews.
Students normally study in the same class hour from their enrollment to completion.
※In principle, the beginners' 1 class is held in the morning in April and October terms. In January and July terms, the beginners' 1 class is held in the afternoon.

STUDY GRANTS
ALA study grant
Eligible students : Open to all students who have already studied at ALA for 2 terms.
Number of recipients : 2-4 /term
Amount of grant : 20～40% of 3months tuition (depend on number of recipients)
Conditions : 1.To attend the course more than 9 months(3Terms)
2.Perfect attendance with no tardiness and no early leaving.
3.To be recommended by a class teacher.
Judging : By an in-school screening meeting
Other grant program by the school recommendation
Japanese Educational Facilities Entering School Student Learning Encouragement Fee (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology)
Eligible students : pre-college students who plan to enrol in university, graduate school or vocational school
Application period : Every April to May
Amount of grant : 48,000 yen x 12 months (Total 576,000 yen)
LEE SU-HYON Scholarship(LSH ASIA Syogakukai)
Eligible students : Pre-college students from Asian countries
Amount of grant : 25,000yen x 6 months (Total 150,000 yen)
Kyoritsu Maintenance Scholarship
Eligible students : privately-financed international students, who are from Asian countries
Amount of grant : 60,000 yen x 12 months(Total 720,000 yen)
VISA
Multi-national students who are from more than 20 countries are usually registered at ALA.
Their visa status is also various.
Person who wish to study more than 6 months in Japan, are able to apply for pre-college student visa through ALA.
The time of entrance is the beginning of each term (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct)

For students who don't require pre-college student visa.
- You can sign up anytime.
- You can decide your length of study. (Minimum 1week)
※Please sign up at the beginning of each term if you are a complete beginner in Japanese.
※In case you sign up in the middle of the term, you may not be able to join your appropriate class. We recommend you to sign up at the beginning of the term if it is possible.
